Rosemary & Steve’s Elora Mill Wedding in Ontario

From a dress search to a wedding day free from outside pressure, Rosemary and Steve’s Elora Mill wedding was all about staying true to themselves. Their story is a beautiful example of a personal, romantic, plus size bridal celebration in Ontario.

Rosemary and Steve’s wedding at Elora Mill in Ontario was romantic, personal, and fully centered on what felt right for them.

From the soft, airy bridal look to the emotional first dance, their day was full of genuine moments rather than overdone trends. Their story is also a reminder that wedding planning gets much easier when you stop trying to please everyone else.

Rosemary and Steve met online nearly a decade ago. Even though they had many shared childhood connections, they never actually crossed paths until both of them moved from the suburbs into the city of Toronto.

Their relationship grew slowly over time before they fully realized what they had. Since then, they have built a relationship that feels natural, grounded, and fun.

For Rosemary, finding the dress was not only about style. She wanted a designer that truly creates with larger bodies in mind , not a brand that only scales up a few straight-size gowns and calls that inclusion. She was looking for real commitment to plus size bridal design and a dress that would make her feel beautiful, not restricted.

She loved that the dresses could be tailored to different bodies and different needs, rather than expecting every bride to fit into the same shape or structure. That flexibility made a huge difference in how she experienced dress shopping.

“Don’t worry about thinks! All that matters is every choice you make is for you and your partner and not anybody else.”

Rosemary and Steve planned to save their honeymoon for a little later, giving themselves something else to look forward to after the wedding.

But for Rosemary, the biggest thing was simple: she was excited to spend the rest of her life with him.

Detachable Sleeves & Boleros: One Gown, Two Looks

A bride doesn’t wear one look on her wedding day. She stands at the altar in one version of herself, then dances the night away in another. A handful of Rêves gowns make that easy, with detachable sleeves, straps, and sheer boleros built right in, so the ceremony dress and the reception dress can be the exact same gown.

The Studio Levana Corset, Explained

There’s a hero in every Studio Levana gown, and you’ll never see it. We call it the magic corset, built right into the bodice so there’s no separate piece to fit around and nothing left to guess. Here’s how it shows up in three gowns that don’t have much else in common: Ines, Corinne Fitted, and Yvette Fitted.

A-Line vs. Fitted: Choosing Your Rêves Silhouette

Five gowns in the Rêves collection come in two versions — same fabric, same signature corset, two different silhouettes. A-line skirts sweep and move; Fitted silhouettes follow the body before releasing into a train. Here’s how that choice plays out across Claire, Manon, Anaïs Sparkly, Corinne, and Lise — so you can find which one is you.
