From a College Romance to a Fairytale Wedding at Mottram Hall

Rachel and Stuart’s love story began 18 years ago when they met at college. Their connection grew over time, and after years of shared memories, they finally said “I do” in a stunning ceremony at Mottram Hall, Cheshire. Surrounded by their loved ones, Rachel and Stuart celebrated a day filled with love, laughter, and personal touches.

Rachel’s bridal journey started with an Instagram ad. “I saw a dress with pearls that caught my eye,” she explains. However, the closest Studio Levana retailer, Lush Curve Bridal, was five hours away. Determined to find the perfect gown, Rachel convinced Stuart to make a weekend trip so she could try it on. She fell in love with the dress—but even more so with the tulle train that completed the look.

After narrowing it down to four dresses, Rachel returned for another five-hour drive with her mom, who helped her choose the one that made her feel the most beautiful. “I loved that I could make changes, but the dress was already perfect as it was,” Rachel says, reflecting on her experience with Studio Levana’s customizable options for curvy brides.

From the ceremony to the reception, Rachel and Stuart’s wedding day at Mottram Hall was magical. “Everything was great. We had such a fun day,” Rachel recalls. They filled their day with personal touches, from their carefully selected playlist to a stunning cake. The venue, surrounded by beautiful Cheshire countryside, added to the fairytale ambiance.
