Their North Yorkshire wedding brought together the people they love, personal details, and one very memorable ring bearer.
Laura describes their relationship simply: Dominic supported her through the hardest time in her life, while she “brought chaos” and he embraced every moment. When it came time to plan their wedding, they focused on creating a day that made them both happy.
On Laura – Allium Dress, Secret Garden Collection
Laura had known about her wedding dress long before she was engaged. She first saw the Studio Levana Allium gown online years earlier and immediately knew it was the dress she wanted.
Once engaged, she began searching for somewhere in the UK where she could try it on. Her search eventually took her to London and Heavenly Bodies Bridal, where she was finally able to wear the dress she had remembered for years.
Even after losing 6.5 stone, Laura said the gown fitted her “like a glove.” Laura particularly loved the flexibility Studio Levana offered when creating her final bridal look. Different corset and sleeve options gave her the opportunity to customise the Allium gown and create the version she had imagined.

Laura’s advice for couples planning their wedding is to enjoy the process and take their time. Planning can bring difficult decisions and unexpected circumstances, but for Laura and Dominic, what mattered was doing what made them both happy.
For the future, Laura and Dominic are looking forward to growing their family in whatever form that takes. Their plans include chickens, ducks, perhaps more animals and maybe children too.
