Holly and Charles’ romantic Waterloo wedding was a heartfelt celebration of love and authenticity. Holly, a stunning plus-size bride, embraced her individuality in a custom Studio Levana gown, proving that every bride deserves to feel confident and beautiful on their special day.

Holly and Charles’ love story is one of rediscovery, deep connection, and a beautiful wedding day filled with cherished memories and heartfelt moments.

They first knew each other in high school but reconnected years later through a dating app. Over five years, they matched and spoke three times before finally deciding to meet in person. That meeting sparked a love story built on mutual respect and undeniable chemistry.

As a plus-size bride, Holly initially dreaded the thought of wedding dress shopping. However, discovering Studio Levana on Instagram transformed her perspective. “I fell in love with the dresses,” she shared. Determined to find her dream plus size wedding gown, she searched for nearby retailers and was thrilled to find Embody Bridal in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Trying on Studio Levana’s plus size bridal gowns was a game-changer for Holly. “Being able to visualize myself in something that fit was so important,” she explained. Her custom gown, featuring intricate lace, built-in corsetry, and a flattering design, celebrated her curves beautifully. “The experience was amazing! I loved being able to make my dress exactly how I envisioned it,” she said.

“Do what makes you happy and don’t worry about pleasing everyone else.”

Planning their wedding in Waterloo came with challenges, especially navigating differing opinions from others. Holly and Charles stayed focused on what mattered most to them. Holly’s advice for future brides is simple yet profound:

Holly and Charles’ wedding ceremony in Waterloo was deeply personal and emotional. Their favorite moment was their first look. “Him seeing me in my dress for the first time, and me seeing him, was so special,” Holly recalled. They also shared private vows during this intimate moment, creating a memory they will cherish forever.

For Holly, the key to enjoying her wedding day was embracing the love and joy that surrounded her. By focusing on what truly mattered, she ensured the day felt special and meaningful.

Holly and Charles’ favorite moments included their heartfelt ceremony and the lively reception with family and friends. Thanks to the support of talented vendors, every detail came together flawlessly, creating memories they’ll cherish forever.
