A Rustic Spring Wedding Full of Love, Florals, and the Perfect Plus-Size Dress

From a springtime mini-golf date to a rustic countryside wedding, Holly and Chris’s love story is full of charm.

When Holly and Chris matched on Tinder back in 2019, they had no idea that a mini golf date and shared love for nature would one day lead to a rustic, floral-filled wedding.

Fast forward to spring 2025, and the couple celebrated their love in a charming countryside setting filled with fresh blooms, soft colors, and personal touches that reflected their journey together.

On Holly – Viola Dress, Ever After Collection

After just a few days of chatting online, Holly and Chris met in person for a few rounds of mini golf and drinks. The connection was instant. Their shared appreciation for the outdoors—and Chris’s passion for gardening—sparked the idea for a rustic-inspired wedding full of floral accents and natural spring colors.

Like many plus-size brides, Holly knew that finding the right bridal boutique was key. She wanted a gown that would offer proper support and structure—without sacrificing elegance or individuality.

“I did a lot of research to find a bridal store that carried dresses in sizes that would fit me. I wanted to feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful. I was lucky to book an appointment at Lush Curve Bridal during a Studio Levana trunk show, and that’s where I found the Viola dress. I felt like myself in it instantly.”

What stood out the most? The built-in corset that offered all the support she needed—no shapewear required—and the unique floral design she hadn’t seen anywhere else.

Of all the magical moments throughout the day, one stands out most: a few quiet minutes Holly and Chris shared alone just after the ceremony. It was their first chance to pause, breathe, and truly take in the fact that they were now husband and wife.
